Kingfisher Animal Farm is a beautiful park situated in the heart of Harare with stunning surroundings, serene environment, spectacular sunsets and friendly accommodating staff to make your visit pleasurable and memorable.
The Animal Farm gives you the opportunity to experience the outdoors and get closer to nature! To enjoy family time, while leisurely walking around the Farm, strolling through the shady trees ,relaxing, fishing in the ponds and enjoying trying for the “catch of the day” or horse riding and bonding and feeding the animals.
A play-ground with jungle gyms, wendy house, roundabout, swings, sand pit and slides is available for the younger children to enjoy and for the braver more adventurous youngsters - there is Paint Ball!
The animals under our care are goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, turkeys, geese – both Egyptian and white geese, ducks, chickens, bantams, pigs, donkeys and horses. Children have loads of fund holding the bunnies and guinea pigs and feeding them.
The ducks, geese, turkeys and chickens roam freely during the day, frolicing in the ponds and scratching for “treats” in the gardens, whilst guests walk amongst them.
There is a Coffee shop that serves scrumptious eats. Either a delicious breakfast, or a delectable lunch or mid-morning and afternoon tea with a slice of the best cake ever!! or you and your family can enjoy having a braai or picnic, setting yourself up at a braai / picnic site, to relax for some much needed family and friend time whilst braaiing or laying out your eats and just enjoying the beauty of your surroundings.
