Greenwood Park is situated on the outskirts of the city centre. The park is suitable for ages 12 and under, however, they are in the process of creating a teen zone.
The train is an absolute favourite for most of the kids, as it trundles around the park. There are also chair lifts, swings, playground and canoeing which will keep the kids entertained for hours.
Greenwood Park is ideal for kids birthday parties, however, guests should book in advance. Please note that external food is not allowed into the park as there is a fully functional restaurant. Guests are welcome to bring a birthday cake.
The procedure for the park is to either just pitch up when you want and it is $5 per child, this gives them access to all rides as many times as they want. Guests can book an area, this gives them a gazebo or equivalent to sit under (still have to pay $5 per child).
The park is open from Tuesday to Sunday during the week from 0900 to 1630.
Adults pay $1 to enter the Park.
