Somalisa Camp is a luxury tented camp located in the Hwange National Park on a private concession. It was recently refurbished and is now a fully-fledged eco-friendly resort. The Camp is also involved in responsible tourism which builds the local community by improving lives and preserving local culture.
The camp comprises 7 two-bed sail tents which overlook an acacia forest. The main camp has an elephant pool which draws large herds which make up close interactions almost certain for the guests. The camp sits on a raised deck where guests can cool down by the splash pool or just sit back, relax and enjoy the awesome views of the surroundings
The sleeping quarters are comfortable tents which have indoor and outdoor ablution facilities and some luxury slipper-style tubs for guests to sit back, soak and enjoy the peace and quiet.
