The Samango Paradise cottage is situated in upper Vumba (Bvumba) and overlooks the extraordinary scenery of the Burma Valley and the Himalaya Mountains, with Leopard Rock Hotel and Golf Course in the foreground.
The Samango Paradise cottage sleeps a maximum of four people. If you bring a few children under six years of age you will need to bring your own little bed.
For the fit, there is a healthy walk up the Chinawaremba outcrop to enjoy even more spectacular views over Zimbabwe and Mozambique. You can walk to the botanical garden and to the Bunga forest. It is an ideal place for golfers, birders, hikers, mountain bike riders, motorcyclists and for those who want to observe the beautiful samango monkeys.
The Samango Paradise cottage is nestled in a large garden and equipped with two bedrooms, one bathroom with bath and shower, equipped kitchen, lounge with a fireplace and dining room. Bed linen and towels are supplied. The caretaker will work for a few hours a day to keep the house tidy.
You can use the small television, but you will have to bring your own decoder and DStv card. In the case of power cuts, the 2.5 KVA generator will power some fittings (no geyser). Petrol consumption will have to be paid for at the going rate.
The Samango Paradise cottage is easy to reach; from Mutare drive to the upper Vumba and turn right in the Woodlands road, about 1km downhill. (Woodlands road is just after the Bunga Forest)
